Our 7-Year Warranty
When you invest in a renovation or new cabinetry, you want to know what happens if something goes wrong after the work is complete. Here is exactly how our warranty works.
All Cabinetry provides a 7-year warranty on our workmanship and the cabinetry we make for your home.
If you notice a defect, let us know and we will assess it to work out whether it is covered by our warranty or is the result of general wear and tear. Where an issue is covered, we will arrange for it to be fixed.
This warranty applies to work carried out by All Cabinetry. Products and materials supplied by manufacturers may also have their own warranties, which operate separately from ours.
What the 7-Year Warranty Covers
Our warranty covers defects in the cabinetry we make and the work carried out by All Cabinetry, subject to the terms of the warranty. If you believe there is a defect, contact us and we will assess it. Where the issue is covered, we will arrange the necessary repair.
What Isn’t Covered
Our warranty does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, or damage caused by circumstances outside our control. It also does not cover issues arising from misuse, neglect or alterations carried out by others, unless we have agreed otherwise.
Adjustments, such as realigning doors or drawers as they settle with use, are routine maintenance rather than a warranty repair, so they are not covered by the warranty. If you are unsure whether an issue is covered, get in touch and we will arrange to assess it.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Email us at sales@allcabinetry.com.au (preferred) or call (03) 9782 4750 and tell us what has happened. We will respond within 3 business days.
To help us assess it quickly, please include:
- a description of the issue and when you first noticed it
- photos
- your project address
- the date the work was completed
We will then assess whether it is covered by our warranty or is general wear and tear. If it is covered, we will arrange for it to be fixed promptly.
Work by Other Trades
Our warranty covers work carried out by All Cabinetry. It does not cover work completed by other trades, such as tiling and waterproofing. If you have a concern about that work, contact the tradesperson who carried it out, as they warrant their own work. We are happy to recommend a tradesperson, but we do not supply one.
Manufacturer and Supplier Warranties
Some products in your renovation may also be covered by a separate manufacturer’s warranty. These are provided by the manufacturer and can have their own warranty periods, registration requirements, conditions and claim processes.
Hardware warranties depend on the product and brand you choose. Established premium brands generally carry longer warranties than budget ranges, and we can talk you through the difference when you select your hardware.
